As part of our 80th Anniversary celebrations Butlersbridge Anglers have agreed to allow the Club to use their facilities on Annagh for a day of "Fun n' Fishing".  
This will take place on Saturday 28th July from 11am - 4pm followed by a meal in the Derrygarra. 
 Anyone wishing to attend  are asked to contact Francie McNally 087 2374503 or Eamon Donoghue 086 8264607 and if any member wishes to bring their own boat, Butlersbridge Anglers will have no objections

Day Out

Seminar
On the evening of the 18th of April Joe Caffrey of the I.F.I. will be giving a seminar on Bio-security in the Cavan Crystal Hotel.  
This is a very important topic and should be of interest to all members and all clubs.  Members are asked to try to attend the seminar if at all possible. 

Club Boat
The club boat on Lough Sheelin, is available to all members for a small fee of €20 for the season.
 Members wishing to avail of this offer should contact Eamon Donohue on 086 8264607. This is only open to members you have paid their current sub.
 If you wish to pay your current sub please forward €20 to Dessie McEntee, Antiduff, Ballyhaise, Co Cavan.

Ulster & National Competitions
As you may be aware the Club is hosting the Ulster River and the National River Competitions in the coming Season, as part of our 80th year 
anniversary celebrations, and we hope we can rely on members to help out in anyway in the organising of these events. 
- Ulster - 28th April           - National - 9th June.

Prize Bonds
The Club has decided to purchase €500 worh of Prize Bonds. It was decided that if a prize over €20,000 was won the balance would be 
divided among the current paid up members for the past 3 years. The €20,000 would go into club funds

This promises to be an eventful year for the Club and I would like to wish all members the very best for the coming season.

The club would like to draw your attention to the enclosed. We feel that the build up of debris, at the bridge, poses a danger to the structure. We would be grateful if you could instruct the relevant body within the council to remove same.
